Labor On The Move: Keicher to Head Up AFL-CIO's Affiliate and Federation Outreach Division

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)David Keicher (right) has
been tapped to head up the AFL-CIO Campaign
Department's Affiliate and
Federation Outreach Division. Keicher has
worked in the labor movement for more
than three decades and has served with the
AFL-CIO for 18 years, most recently
in the AFL-CIO campaigns to elect Marty Walsh
as Boston Mayor and Elizabeth
Warren as U.S. Senator from Massachusetts. The
Affiliate and Federation
Outreach division is responsible for national
and local outreach to ensure the
AFL-CIO's campaign programs align with the
goals and needs of affiliated unions
and federation bodies. Keicher will work to
foster stronger relationships between
the federation and affiliated unions, as well
as work with State Federation and
Central Labor Council Advisory Committee,
working closely with affiliated
unions’ state and regional councils to
maintain closer communication between
affiliates and state and local federation
