Great Need, Many Ways to Help
Wednesday, December 18, 2013(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)
In this season of giving, Community Services Agency Executive Director Kathleen
McKirchy reminds us "There are several ways to help working people in
need." If United Way, CFC or One Fund Campaigns are still happening at
your worksite, designate your contribution to CSA: Designation #8253 for United
Way/DC One Fund and #19579 for CFC. Make a direct year-end tax-deductible
contribution to CSA. If by check, mail to 888 16th Street NW, Suite 520,
DC 20006. If on-line, go to the Metro
Washington Council's website, click on Community Services, then
click on donate now, or click
here and give to CSA
there. Get your local union to make a contribution as well for general
operating support. Same address for checks. Last but not least, don’t
forget to register your team for the 22nd Annual “Bowling for Gold” Union
Bowling Tournament coming up Sunday, January 26,
2014.
Contact McKirchy at 202-974-8221 or kmckirchy@dclaborarchives.org for a registration form.
