"Scrooge Of The Year" Nominations Due
Tuesday, November 12, 2013
(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)It's probably not an honor that the winner proudly displays on their office
wall, but it's one that's well-earned just the same. That's right, it's time to
nominate candidates for DC
Jobs with Justice's 2013 “Scrooge of the Year.” Qualifications for
nomination include "greed, injustice and plain old mean-spiritedness," says JWJ
organizer Ari Schwartz. "The winner will be the person or company which did the
most dastardly deeds to the working people of the nation’s capital." Past
Scrooge "winners" include Rob Walton of Walmart, former Mayor Adrian Fenty, and
the Washington Hospital Center. Click here to submit your 2013 nomination;
and stay tuned to vote on the nominees in the coming weeks. Contact Ari@dcjwj.org with any questions.
