"Norma Rae" Still Organizing

AVODAH staff and alumnae joined Jews United For Justice for a "paid sick days for all" canvass at Monday's Screen on the Green showing of "Norma Rae." The crowd -- full of labor folks eager to see the movement classic on the big screen -- cheered as Norma Rae (Sally Field) proudly held up her “UNION” sign and shut down the factory.
