Local News: AFSCME Council 26 Officers Elected

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Saul Schniderman (AFSCME Local 2910 - Library of Congress Guild) has been re-elected President of AFSCME Council 26, the coalition of 18 local unions at the following federal agencies: the Library of Congress, the Department of Justice, the Department of Agriculture, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Peace Corps, the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Voice of America and the Architect of the Capitol. Other officers elected on March 27 for a 2-year term were Vice President Kelly Daly (AFSCME Local 2027 - Corporation for National and Community Service), Secretary Walt Porzel (AFSCME Local 3925 - Farm Service Agency/Risk Management Agency) and Treasurer Ralph Randall (Local 1653 – Federal Aviation Administration).
