Paid Sick Days Focus of Labor Seder

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)“Let My People Go… Home Sick” is the theme of this year’s Labor Seder, coming up on March 17. Pushing forward in their paid sick days campaign, Jews United for Justice (JUFJ) says that “no one should have to choose between their health and their job.” Each spring, JUFJ brings together the Jewish, labor, and activist communities to celebrate the freedom story of the Exodus at the annual Labor Seder. This year’s Seder, featuring singing, discussion, and food, will include hands-on action to promote paid sick day legislation in the District.
