Labor On The Stage: "DC Trash" Opens Tonight
Friday, March 1, 2013
(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Called a “treasure” of the 2012 DC Fringe Festival, Ron Litman’s one-man
show "DC Trash" starts a four-show run tonight as a part of the Atlas Intersections festival. The show
looks at DC from the inside out, through Litman’s experience as a trash man in
the District, which “smartly toggles between his low-key persona and a
high-energy, high-risk street-theater style” (Washington
Post). Union members can get 20% off tickets to the show by using
the code SOLIDARITY when ordering tickets online or over the phone.
