IAM 1759 Promotes CSA Emergency Assistance Fund

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)IAM Capital Air Lodge 1759 recently promoted the Community Services Agency’s Emergency Assistance Fund to its members on the local’s website (CSA's Emergency Assistance Fund Helps our Members in Need). The January 15 post explained that the fund “is designed to help union members with financial crises which they are experiencing through no fault of their own,” adding that “Resources for the fund are generated through the annual Bowling and Golf Tournaments and Labor Night at the Nats, and through contributions of local unions who wish their members to be eligible for assistance.” Noting that Local 1759 participates, the post detailed how members can apply for assistance, as well as how to make contributions to the fund.
