Turn Out to "Defend Occupy DC" (right): The mood in McPherson
Square was festive as occupiers were joined by hundreds of allies, reporters,
and lunch-hour onlookers eager to see what would happen at noon, the time the
National Park Service had warned Occupy DC that it would begin enforcing the
park service’s no-camping regulations...

for Gold" a Shining Success (left): From the Bricklayer's
"Bowling Stones" to the United Mine Workers' "Coal Strikers," nearly 100 teams
from across the metro area labor community came together to strike down pins and
raise money for the Community Services Agency’s Emergency Assistance Fund
yesterday at the 20th annual Bowling for Gold bowling
tournament…
