This Just In: Anita Bonds Elected

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Anita Bonds was elected an interim DC City Council Member at a meeting of the DC Democratic State Committee last night. Bonds will take Phil Mendelson's At-Large seat from January 1 until the special election for the seat in April. The State Committee, which has four labor representatives, is the official central body of the DC Democratic Party.
