(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Minnie Allen (right), affectionately known as Ms. Minnie, retired last week from the Library of Congress food service, where she’s worked for 30 years. According to co-workers, Allen, who started as a food service worker at the Library of Congress in 1983, "never missed a day of work and never came in late."
