Prince
George’s County residents aged 18-24 can get free training for jobs in the
hospitality industry, thanks to a grant from the Greater Washington Workforce
Development Collaborative of the Community Foundation to the Community Services
Agency, The Training Source, and Prince George’s Community College.
Applications are due by October 3. “Participants will receive three
industry-recognized certifications, computer and job readiness training, and
help finding a job in the hospitality industry,” says CSA Executive Director
Kathleen McKirchy. Adding that “We’re actively recruiting students for this
program,” McKirchy urges area locals to help spread the word “by passing
along this story or posting it on your local’s website or Facebook page.”
