Summertime Training for Union Women

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Registration is still open for union women looking to strengthen their knowledge and build their skills at this summer’s Southern School for Union Women. The five-day program – sponsored by the United Association for Labor Education – will be held at the Institute for Labor Studies and Research at West Virginia University. Women will have the opportunity to take classes ranging from collective bargaining to social networking, as well as discuss concerns unique to women in the workplace.
