Metro Council Board Sworn In

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The election of the Metro Council's Executive Board led off a meeting jam-packed with delegates and upcoming Streetheat and political activities Monday night. Elected for a three-year term were: Fred Allen (GCC 538-C), Vance Ayres (WBCTC), John Boardman (Unite Here 25), Dwight Bowman (AFGE District 14), Linda Bridges (OPEIU 2), Dena Briscoe (APWU), Jaime Contreras (SEIU 32BJ), Dan Dyer (OPEIU 2), Sandra Falwell (DCNA), Anthony Frederick, Sr. (LIUNA 657), Riley Gaines (IBEW 26), Carl Goldman (AFSCME Council 26), Jackie Jeter (ATU 689), Geo Johnson (AFSCME Council 20), Kendall Martin (Ironworkers 5), Mike Murphy (IUOE 99), Tony Perez (UFCW 400), Thomas Ratliff (Teamsters 639), Carnell Reed (SEIU 400), Doris Reed (ASASP), Gino Renne (UFCW 1994 MCGEO), Nathan Saunders (WTU 6), Jimmy Tarlau (CWA District 2), Katherine Taylor (SEIU 1199), Jos Williams (AFSCME 2477).
