NFFE Helps Sustain Occupy DC(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Helping keep Occupy DC environmentally friendly, National Federation of Federal Employees (NFFE) President Bill Dougan and Office Manager Amy Burns donated a brand new tool kit and circular saw last Thursday. “Occupy DC is working hard for the 99% and NFFE is pleased to be able to support their efforts for sustainability,” Dougan told Union City. Occupier Kelsey, a member of Occupy DC’s Sustainability Committee, showed Dougan and Burns the camp’s Sustainability Tent, packed with projects from solar heaters to bicycle-powered generators, explaining that the donated tools would be used to help finish these projects.
