How to Help Protect Worker Rights in Ohio

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)You don’t have to go to Ohio to help fight for collective bargaining rights there. The AFL-CIO is running phonebanks through next Tuesday to help get out the vote -- seen as a key test of the labor movement -- for the referendum revoking S.B. 5, the anti-worker bill supported by Gov. John Kasich and passed by the state legislature earlier this year that effectively eliminated collective bargaining for public employees.
