Elevator Constructor Apprentices Score High

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Elevator Constructor union apprentices posted an impressive 81% pass rate earlier this month on the Mechanics Exam. The notoriously tough 162-question test is based on four years of training and IUEC Local 10 teachers commended students for “all that hard work in school and all that study time you put in,” posting a congratulatory note on the local’s website announcing that this year’s pass rate jumped to 81% from about 60%.
