Contest winner Alan Freeman at the IBEW knew that it was American orator and abolitionist Wendell Phillips who said “Organize, and stand together.  Claim something together, and at once; let the nation hear a united demand from the laboring voice, and then, when you have got that, go on after another; but get something.” Wrong answers outnumbered the correct answer this week, with Eugene Debs and Sam Gompers getting more votes.
