Dogging The Terminator

Activists are dogging California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s campaign fundraising swing this week, targeting his proposed privatization of public employee pensions. Schwarzenegger’s plan would undercut the security of pensions for millions of California’s public workers by forcing them into risky 401(k) investments. The California pension privatization plan is the front line of the campaign by President Bush and Wall Street brokers to privatize Social Security and reap billions in profits. Schwarzenegger will be in DC Tuesday for a noontime fundraiser hosted by Californians for Schwarzenegger ’06 (see On The Line for details).
