DC Hotel Workers Vote On Contract Today

Hotel workers are voting today on the contract agreement negotiated Friday night; results of the vote will be announced at 7:30P. As reported in our Friday night special edition, the agreement includes new protections from workload increases, harassment at the workplace and other problems workers sought to improve. The economic package improves wages, pension contributions and maintains a strong health care package.
