Legislative Reception Tonight

Area union members will have a chance to meet metro-area legislators at tonight’s Metro Council 2005 Legislative Reception, a unique chance for union activists to talk with their lawmakers before legislative business shifts into high gear. Confirmed legislators include: Del. Jim HUBBARD (Prince George's), Councilmember George LEVENTHAL (Montgomery), Del. Tawanna GAINES (Prince George's), Del. Anne HEALEY (Prince George's), Councilmember Doug PETERS (Prince George's), Councilmember David CATANIA (DC), Councilmember Phil MENDELSON (DC), Councilmember Nancy FLOREEN (Montgomery), Councilmember Tom PEREZ (Montgomery), Senator John GIANETTI (Prince George's), Del. Sue KULLEN (Calvert), Senator Jennie FOREHAND (Montgomery), Del. Anna Sol GUTIERREZ (Montgomery), Del. Joanne BENSON (Prince George's), Councilmember Marilyn BLAND (Prince George's). The reception runs from 6-9P at UFCW Local 400, 4301 Garden City Dr, Landover, MD.
