Meet state and county legislators at the Metro Council's 2005 legislative reception next Monday, January 10 (see On The Line for details). Don’t miss this great opportunity to directly discuss the issues that matter most to you and your members. Be sure to RSVP to rmcknigh@dclaborarchives.org by Friday, January 7. Also next week, Maryland House and Senate leaders will move to override several of Governor Ehrlich's vetoes when the General Assembly reconvenes. Among those bills is the state living wage legislation and the proposed Equal Pay Commission.
