Hassan's Jazz Wins Award

AFGE national rep Rusty Hassan will be saluted at tonight’s 21st annual Mayor's Arts Awards. The host of WPFW’s "Jazz & More," has been bringing jazz to DC airwaves for more than thirty years, and has interviewed Max Roach, Sun Ra, Lionel Hampton, Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins, Woody Herman and Count Basie, among many others.
