Massive Labor GOTV Kicks Off "Final Four" Days:

More than 100,000 union activists will be out talking to union members and their families door-to-door across the country this Saturday, as the 2006 campaign enters the critical final stretch. Nationwide, they will knock on 3.5 million union doors, make more than 5 million phone calls and pass out 1.75 million worksite leaflets in the final four days. There are nearly a dozen walks and lit-drops in the metro Washington area tomorrow, from DC to Maryland and Virginia. “A few hours Saturday will be the key to winning for working men and women Tuesday,” says Metro Council President Jos Williams. “See you at the door!”
