Schniderman Re-Elected Council 26 President

Saul Schniderman was re-elected President of AFSCME Council 26 on April 19. Schniderman, who leads AFSCME Local 2910, has served since 1998 as President of the Council, which includes 20 AFSCME federal sector locals. Fifteen of the Council’s 20 locals participated in the election, with votes cast for 91 percent of the Council’s total membership. In other Council 26 election results, Randy Baxter (AFSCME 3976) was elected Vice-President, Walt Porzel (AFSCME 3925) was elected Secretary and Gloria Minor (AFSCME 3719) was elected Treasurer; all ran unopposed.
