Bargaining Talks with ABC Suspended

Wednesday, April 4, 2007

Contract talks between ABC and the broadcast and cable workers union were suspended last week. The contract talks – which cover 2,500 workers, including members of NABET 31 in DC -- were suspended on March 27, just “days before the contract was set to expire” according to a report by the International Cinematographers Guild. Bargaining, which began in February, broke down after ABC proposed changes to “pension contributions, seniority-related issues and other matters” the Guild reports. To read the entire Guild story, click here or visit the NABET 31 website for specific details.
