Labor Says Turnout (Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)

Union members from 16 internationals knocked on doors in Northern Virginia last Saturday from Prince William County to Winchester to remind labor households to vote on November 5 for pro-worker candidates. Congressman Gerry Connolly told the volunteers to ignore the polls because voters determine who will win. "Turnout will be the key to change the direction of politics in Richmond," said NoVA Labor President Daniel Duncan.
