Three Easy Ways to Support CSA

It’s that easy to support the Community Services Agency through your worksite United Way, Combined Federal, DC One Fund and Maryland Charity Campaigns, says CSA Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy. “CSA depends on contributions from individuals during these campaigns to keep our programs running,” McKirchy says. “Emergency assistance, strike/lock-out/lay-off/furlough support and assistance, information and referral, every service we provide to workers and their families – as we did recently during the shutdown -- requires resources.” Here are McKirchy’s tips on how you can help: 1: Give in your workplace through the United Way, Combined Federal, DC One Fund and Maryland Charity Campaigns; 2: encourage fellow union members to give by downloading this year’s CSA campaign flyer; 3: get your local union to promote CSA to its members through blast emails of the flyer, presentations at union meetings and worksite campaign events.
