CSA News You Can Use: Catholic Charities Seeks Volunteers
Monday, October 21, 2013(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)
Last year, Catholic Charities of DC’s 66
programs in 48 locations across the District of
Columbia and the surrounding Maryland counties
served more than 126,000 men, women and
children of all economic, religious and social
backgrounds. You can help bring
compassion to the most vulnerable people among
us: those who are developmentally disabled,
homeless, or mentally ill who are served by
Catholic Charities, a sister United Way
organization to the Community Services Agency.
They are looking for volunteers to help in a
number of different ways; click
here to view all of their volunteer
opportunities. Their spotlight
opportunity this month is the Shelter
Hospitality Volunteers. Please let CSA
know if you do an individual or group volunteer
event so we can publicize. Email
