Monday, October 14, 2013

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)"No Government, No Peace!" says AFGE 3331, which represents employees at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and which is organizing a rally tomorrow at 11a at EPA headquarters (14th & Constitution NW, Federal Triangle Metro stop). "We're rallying for our jobs, our families, and our agency," says Local 3331 President Nate James.  "Family, friends, coworkers, all are welcome to attend. " AFGE National, AFGE District 14, and other unions will be present. "As federal employees of the EPA, it's our duty to the American public to protect human health and the environment. Every day that we are shut down is a polluters holiday. We need to get back to work!"
