Iron 5 Apprentices Sweep Mid-Atlantic Competition

Members of Ironworkers Local #5 earned the three top spots at the September 14 Apprenticeship Competition for the Mid-Atlantic Region, held at Local #79's headquarters in Norfolk, VA. Ryan Eshelman (center) took first place, Andrew Hernandez (left) was second and Nick Demino (right) won third place. “The officers and staff of Local 5 and our Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee offer our heartiest congratulations to all three members,” said Business Manager Kendall Martin. “We are proud of their accomplishments and the sacrifices they made to train all-out for this event.” Click here for photos from the competition.
