Doyle
Printing’s team took first place at
Monday’s Community Services Agency Golf
Tournament, coming in ten under par and
beating out the AFL-CIO Housing Investment
Trust/Musicians 161-710 team (7 under)
and Laborers Local 657 (7 under) to earn $150
gift certificates to the
all-union Charlie Palmer Steak House courtesy
of UnitedHealthcare. “It was a
great day because everyone won,” said Tom
Doyle. “I’m proud of all the teams
for coming out to support such a great
cause.” The annual tournament benefits
the CSA’s Emergency Assistance Fund, which
aids hundreds of needy families each
year. “Congratulations to all the players,
locals and organizations for helping
us raise much-needed funds,” said CSA
Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy.
“Special thanks to all our wonderful
sponsors, who help to make this event so
much fun every year, as well as the great team
at the Enterprise Golf Course, a
terrific union facility and of course our Golf
Committee headed by CSA
Boardmember Alex Thompson.” Other winners
included UFCW 1994’s Doug Menapace
(Longest Drive) and Dave Madison, AFSCME 1653
at the FAA (Closest to Pin).
