Renne at the UFCW’s convention in Chicago, which began yesterday. Inspired by
the theme “Blue. Gold. Bold. Powerful Together,” convention delegates
representing over 1.3 million UFCW members are in the Windy City to chart a
course for the next five years and beyond. Their aim is to raise standards
and build power for workers in the grocery, retail, and food manufacturing
industries. “It’s a real honor to be here with my UFCW brothers and
sisters,” said Williams (UFCW Rejoins AFL-CIO8/9
UC).
