Saunders Appeals WTU Election: Nathan Saunders has filed an appeal to the Washington Teachers’ Union elections committee asking that the results in the recent run-off election for president of the local be set aside. In that election earlier this month, Elizabeth Davis defeated Saunders with 55 percent of the vote. Click here for reports in the Washington Post and City Paper.
