Viewing and Services for Kathryn Grooms-Bard July 5-6

Funeral viewing and services for Kathryn Grooms-Bard, daughter of Tri-County COPE Chair Bill Grooms and his wife Mary, will be this Friday, July 5, 2-4p and 6-8p at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Road in Oxon Hill, MD. Mass will be held this Saturday, July 6, 10a, at St. Columbia Catholic Church, 7800 Livingston Road in Fort Washington, MD, followed by interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD. Kathryn Grooms-Bard was killed in a car accident last Friday; her son Steven, 9 1/2 years old, has been released from the hospital, while her 5-week-old infant remains in critical condition with head injuries.
