Working America's New Website Includes Cool Dance Video

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Complete with a worker’s rights-themed dance battle video, and in collaboration with the AFL-CIO Organizing Department, Working America has launched a new website, FixMyJob.com. The site is targeted at the tens of millions of workers who do not have union protection on the job. Workers can identify the problems they are experiencing, such as a bad boss, irregular scheduling, lack of sick days, or safety concerns, then learn about how to join with co-workers to address them. The second tier of the site, OrganizeWith.us, provides information and step by step instruction on changing workplaces for the better. Workers can create accounts, and are then walked through the steps of successful organizing.  Workplace rights resources are also available. - ILCA
