Williams & Kann On El Salvador Then & Now

Metro Council President Jos Williams – who joined a labor delegation to El Salvador in 1983 in the midst of their violent civil war – and Assistant Mobilizer Julia Kann – who traveled there as a part of a CISPES labor delegation last month – will share first-hand reports this Wednesday at 1p at the AFL-CIO, where they’ll share lessons learned from successful mass mobilizations against privatization and opportunities to support emerging cross-border labor campaigns.
