Kicking Off the 2nd Annual United Way Shoebox Drive

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Last year, union donations made up about 30% of everything collected for the local United Way Shoebox Drive. The project which provides decorated shoeboxes filled with essential items such as toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, soap, warm socks and more to individuals and families in need. This year the drive is on again. The shoebox drive runs through June 30.
