Solidarity Center Report: 73 Million Young Workers Jobless; Thai Factory Fire Commemorated

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Around the world, 73.4 million young workers will be jobless in 2013 and the
number of unemployed young workers is likely to increase through 2018, according
to a new International Labor Organization report. In Hong Kong, survivors of
last's year's Tazreen fire in Bangladesh, other workers injured on the job, and
safety rights activists are holding a press conference today to mark the 20th
anniversary of the Kader Factory fire in Thailand, which killed 188 workers, and
the current dismal state of workplace safety in Asia. Check out the Solidarity
