Day Two of Nurses Week: Teresa Morrison Aims to Spread Joy to Patients at Golden Living

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Each and every day, Teresa Morrison (right) brings light and laughter to the residents of Golden Living, formerly Elizabeth Adam Crump Nursing Home, in Richmond, Va. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Morrison helps patients start their day by assisting with bathing and getting dressed, and taking them to their activities. “This is the hardest job I’ve ever had, but it’s also the most rewarding,” said Morrison, a UFCW Local 400 member.
