MontCo Park & Planning Workers Win 6% Raise

Workers at Montgomery County’s Park and Planning Commission have won 6% raises in a wage-reopener for FY 2014, reports UFCW 1994 MCGEO, which represents 650 MCPPC members. The tentative agreement reinstates COLAs and increments; most workers will see wage increases totaling 6%. “Congrats to our members and a special thanks to the bargaining team that worked late into the night on Saturday to reach this agreement,” said Local 1994.
