Labor on the Move: Brea Ellis New Union Services Rep at Union Plus

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Fourth-generation Washington, D.C., resident Brea Ellis (right) is Union Plus’ newest Union Services Representative. A former flight attendant, Ellis previously worked as ATU 689’s Digital Media Analyst , where she created content for a community of more than 11,000 ATU members including drivers, train operators and mechanics. “My office was on top of the union hall which was great because I got to meet a lot of members on their way into the hall,” she says. She’s looking forward to adding value to union membership by providing union leaders with everything they need to tell members about their Union Plus benefits.
