Free Screening of Updated "We Are Wisconsin" Doc Today

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Today’s free noontime AFL-CIO screening of “We Are Wisconsin” is perfectly timed, in light of the ongoing attacks on public sector workers, e.g. yesterday’s federal worker demonstrations against the sequester and Sunday’s postal service worker rallies. The gripping documentary follows the day-to-day unfolding of the dramatic battle for worker rights in Wisconsin and has been updated since its previous screening during the 2012 DC Labor FilmFest (which is co-sponsoring this screening) with new footage from the recent election.
