people? Haitian unions are taking the lead in educating and mobilizing workers
and the community about their right to participate at the workplace and in the
broader social debates that shape their lives, according to panelists at a
recent event in Washington, DC. In Kenya, where voters are headed to the polls
next week to elect a new president, the union movement there sponsored a
first-ever forum for candidates to describe how their platforms would help
