IBEW 26 Helps Install FedExField Solar Panels

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)IBEW Local 26 members helped build the largest solar panel array in Washington. The array – at FedEx Field – powers all of the stadium's offices on non-game days and goes far to offset power usage on game days, according to a report on IBEW’s Electric TV. “It was a great honor to do the work out here,” Local 26 Business Manager Chuck Graham (right) says in the video. “It meant a lot to our members and they took a lot of pride in doing that work because it’s the Washington Redskins and we’re really proud of them." - image still from video
