Labor On The Move: AFL-CIO's Alison Omens Off to SE Asia

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Last Friday was the last day at the AFL-CIO for Alison Omens, Deputy Director of
Public Affairs and Director of Media Outreach. Omens is “off to Vietnam and
other parts of SE Asia for some adventure and R&R (and) looking forward to
taking some serious time without constant email and Twitter traffic.” Contrary
to rumors, Omens says she “did not buy a one-way ticket” and is “confident
