Eitches Wins Re-Run Election at AFGE 476

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Eddie Eitches (right) has won re-election as President of AFGE 476. The election, originally held in November 2011, was rerun on January 10 based on AFGE District 14's decision in response to former candidate Will Christie's election protest. Eitches and Russell Varnado were the only candidates, with Eitches winning almost 77% of the vote. Eitches is also the President of the Council of AFGE’s 36 locals at HUD.
