AT&T Mobility Workers Mobilize for Contract

Area CWA locals were stepping up mobilization efforts as negotiations with AT&T Mobility went down to the wire over the weekend. Strike authorization ballots were due back by the end of last week “to send the message ‘We will stand up for what we think is fair’ to management,” said CWA 2222. After failing to reach a new tentative agreement before contract expiration Saturday night, CWA and AT&T agreed to extend the contract while bargaining continued.“Stay informed. Be prepared.
