CSA Holiday Basket Project Brings Out Union Generosity(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Union generosity was on display once again during the recent holiday season. “Whether it was collecting food, adopting families, or sending in gift cards and money for needy area families at holiday time, the local labor community stepped up,” says Community Services Agency (CSA) Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy. “Special thanks from CSA and the 40 area families we were able to assist to the unions and individuals who contributed.
