Jeter Re-Elected at ATU 689; Lewis Elected at CWA 2222

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Jackie Jeter (right) was re-elected President of ATU Local 689 last month. She was first elected President in 2007. Esker Bilger was re-elected as the local’s Financial Secretary-Treasurer, Larry E. Lockley, Jr. will serve as Recording Secretary, and Roland H. Jeter was re-elected as First Vice-President and Gerry Garnett as Second Vice-President. Local 689 represents workers at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). At CWA Local 2222, Donald L. Lewis was elected President, Travis Carpenter was elected Executive Vice President, Carolyn Greenfield Secretary-Treasurer, Cheryl Edwards Vice-President West and Eddie Woodruff Vice-President at Large.
